It is an intense moisturizer as it penetrates deeper into the skin, where it's needed most, without clogging pores. Tallow can help to prevent blemishes, heal skin and even-out your skin tone as it is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and prevents the buildup of dead skin cells.
 
Our tallow is of the highest quality, is triple-rendered to ensure its purest form and is sourced from local cattle. We render our tallow from suet, instead of muscle fat, as it contains a higher amount of saturated fatty acids and glyceryl tristearate (a triglyceride). Suet smooths and softens skin better than regular muscle fat, while protecting the skin's barrier. It is highly saturated and nutrient-dense.
 
We use olive oil in this balm as well as it is rich in antioxidants which helps reduce signs of aging, it has squalene which supports moisture retention in the skin and also has Vitamin E which increases the capacity to absorb and retain water and boosts the production of collagen to help prevent wrinkles and keep skin firm and youthful.
